Uni woes.
Firstly, pardon the lack of images. ModBlog, where I host them, severely shat itself the other day and hasn't been well since. Ah well.
So from here on in at uni, it's crunch time. Bah! It's Wednesday and I'm bogged down in it. Project due dates are coming up, and in true Mikey style, I'm struggling to have them done in time. I'm getting a wriggle on, but I'm not panicking - it's just not my style.
My education partner and I got started on our report for EDUF2007, the working title of which is Drug & Alcohol Education in Schools: Attitudes and Effectiveness. No, it's not quite catchy, is it? Come to think of it, we probably should've gone for some sort of inappropriate and/or totally unrelated two-syllable pseudonym like CatPuke, ManJam, or, heaven forbid, Longhorn.
We've had to narrow our focus, though. Originally, our investigation included parents, teachers and other community stakeholders, but due to time contraints and other limiting circumstances, we're just going to look at recent high school graduates. It's all good, less work to do.
Also due soon is my quantum physics computational lab project. It's a total bugger. We're meant to be modelling hydrogen-like atoms as electric potential wells, but after four hours of lab time over the last couple of weeks, we've only written six lines of code that don't even work.
Organic chemistry labs start tomorrow. Great. For four hours, I'll be stuck up on Level 5 of the School of Chemistry preparing aryl halides and/or tris(ethylenediamine)nickelate(II) chloride metal complexes. Fun times lay ahead. Erm, yeah.
