Interesting...
I found this somewhere on the internet. It's a map from 1974 of Sydney Railways showing the extent of Eastern Suburbs Railway as proposed. The Woollahra station was never constructed, and neither was the line beyond Bondi Junction. Makes one wonder what might've been. UNSW could really do with that railway station.
