Gah! Woodies defeated.

Didn't get to go out and see the game today, but it was screened on ABC TV. Gosh it was close! The Woodies were in the lead until the very last minute. Then halfway through the second half and two high tackles later, Eastwood outside centre Al McDonald gets sent off. And it was all downhill from there.

Sydney Uni had the bye and now they're at the top of the competition ladder, Eastwood dropping down to second place and a point behind. Ah well. It's better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick, at least. I hope the Wallabies have better luck tonight.
