Further to my last post on the matter is this letter from today's Herald:

Did anyone else notice the irony of a big concert on the weekend attempting to achieve positive outcomes for millions of the world's poor, and another concert at the SuperDome a day later advocating the virtues of excessive, individual prosperity?
