Adolescents: seen and unfortunately heard.

In the Herald's Radar section:
Schoolgirl: "What time are you getting there, roughly?"
Schoolboy: "About f--en eight-o-f--en-clock."
Schoolgirl: "God, you're a dick."
Kirribilli station, Friday, June 17, 4pm (L. Kerasin, Waitara)

Maybe he/she means Milsons Point station. Nonetheless, suck on that, schoolboy. Ha! I hope his ego took a bit of a battering. Gosh, expand your vocabulary, boy.

Speaking of school children, I think the collective noun for a group of adolescent girls should be a clattering of schoolgirls. Seriously. They make such an ear splittingly irritating noise and the enclosed space of a train carriage only makes it worse. Gah, I think I'm turning into an old man. No, scratch that. There was an old man sitting near me and he was creepily watching the schoolgirls and their shenanigans. That's so not me.
