Such is life.

Simon came to uni today. Though apparently one of his mates commited suicide on Friday night. I can't imagine how tough that must be. We spoke about it during our vector calculus tute and I felt tears being held back. He's usually a cheery kind of bloke, an absolute clown. But today it was different. God, I felt terrible. I didn't know what to say.

I suppose I've been lucky enough not to know anybody who has taken their own life and I hope that that doesn't change.
