Homeward-bound observations.

On the ferry I saw a kid, probably not even in year 4 yet, doing his homework - copying the answers out of the back of the book. They start young, don't they?

So, some photos? Yes? Right.

Ball's Head.

The ex took me to this little grotto on Balls Head near Waverton one morning after I stayed over at his place and we cuddled and stuff. He was such a sweetie. Sigh. On our first date, he took me to a look out around the other side and we watched the city lights and various boats, ships and ferries go by.

Somke Haze over the Parramatta River.

Last week, the authorities conducted fire hazard reduction burns on the North Shore and it left a thick smoke haze over the Harbour. This is the view of the city from the ferry at Drummoyne last Thursday.

Citybound RiverCat.

A citybound Rivercat waits for mine to depart Cabarita Wharf.

John Whitton Bridge at Meadbowbank.

The 1886 iron lattice girder Meadowbank Railway Bridge, built by the then Chief Engineer of the NSWGR, John Whitton.
