Addendum: some extra whinge.

Mattymoo wants to get into extra curricular activities all of a sudden. Sure, good on him and all that, but he says he wants to get into it because it'd look good on his CV. I suppose the community could do with any help, regardless of the motivation for providing it. But it bothers me a little, don't ask me why. One could say that there's no such thing as real altruism anyway but they way he's been talking about it, well it's the antithesis of altruism.

This all stems from him suddenly becoming so career focused. Everything he's done in his life now somehow relates to why he should get a high paying job. He's even started using aspects of high powered corporate speak already. And I get the feeling that he's well on his way to joining Howard's rising aspirational class - everything I loathe and despise.

It bothers me about as much as him and his informal voting.
