No, it's not flu at all.

So I went and saw Doctor Graham today. Apparently it's not the flu at all, which should've been obvious to me, seeing as some of the prime symptoms, i.e. runny or blocked nose, were absent.

It turns out that I've got viral pharyngitis - a viral infection of the pharynx. I can't do anything about it except to let it run its course so it looks like at least a week of being doped up on codeine (it's not bacterial, so antibiotics won't help).
