Just another day.
Today was one of the better days in my currently mundane life. Well, in my world at least. In the larger universe though, the Federal Government re-introduced proposed VSU legislation into parliament today. If I can get the transcript of Brendan Nelson's interview from tonight's 7.30 Report and if I can be arsed to, I might put a little rant together later. By the way, I heart Kerry O'Brien.
My crappy timetable had me at uni from 9am for maths and until 5pm for physics lab with a huge break in between. The impending VSU situation led Simon and I to get into the spirit of universal student unionism and seek entertainment on-campus - pool at The Cubby on Level 5 of Wentworth Building. I'm willing to admit - here and now - that I positively suck at pool. I lost every game but I came really really close to winning a couple of times.
The highlight of the day was coming home - as it almost always is, despite the fun that university apparently contains. SuperCat M.V. Susie O'Neil was rostered on to the 5.25pm ferry service on my way home this arvo. I don't think I've ever flown down the Parramatta River as fast aboard something so big before. I'll be honest, it impressed me. Better than those poncy slow little RiverCats, let me tell you.
