Driftage.

So Mattymoo and I have been talking and we're sensing some major driftage. Which is terrible, because he's become one of my bestest buddies. We've been through this whole queer thing together since we finished high school - a bonding experience, if you will - and it cuts to find out that we're not as good friends as we once were or could be.

Mattymoo and I might not have as extensive a history as my best and oldest friends have with me, but he's become pretty important to me nonetheless. He's the one I whinge to about boy problems, he's the one that holds my hand or gives me a bit of a cuddle when I'm feeling bad and he's the one that freaks me out with his crazy driving. And he's a funny bloke too.

He's a pretty sweet boy as well and if we'd met under any other circumstances, things could've turned out differently. Once we used to joke that after we'd gotten sick of all the other boys we'd end up going old and grey together.

But recently we haven't seen nor spoken all that much. It's either one or both of us are at uni or he's at work. And he lives in the Hills, where public transport just generally sucks for car and licencely challenged me.

You know, maybe his recent girl fucking has something to do with it. Those evil girls, wrecking queer friendships. Honestly...

To tell you the truth though, I miss him a little bit.
