A Canadian.

During stuvac in June last year, I was walking to uni from Central (taking the long way, I know) when this spunky Canadian pulls me aside and asks for help. He asked me if I knew where noticeboards at UTS were, hoping to find leaflets for cheap accomodation there. Of course, I wouldn't have known, seeing as I go to USyd. I couldn't have just left him there, so I told him that he might have better luck down at my uni. So instead of getting some study down at Fisher Library, I took him around all the noticeboards I knew of.

His name was Derek and he'd only been in Sydney for a week. He'd been staying at a mate's house in Manly and needed to get his own place. He looked about twenty-four and he was hot! He had a bit of a five o'clock shadow, looked like he had a great bod, had a cute face and a yummy accent. I couldn't tell if he was queer or not but I got his number regardless. Never did get around to calling him, though.

Anyway, so I'm in the Second-year Physics Labs this afternoon and who should I see but Derek, sitting at the bench across from mine. Over nine months later, we cross paths again. But get this: this semester he's my lab supervisor! Dear oh dear.
