Blind date.

So Simon is setting me up with a boy from his work, a boy called Paul. I went into uni today and handed an assignment-thingo in to the School of Chemistry and while I was there Paul called me and we set something up for tonight.

I haven't been on a blind date for a while. Actually I don't think I've been on one, ever. Hmm, so I'm a little nervous. Just a tad.

The only things I know about him are thus: he's in his 20s (so a little older than I), he's straight acting (and so am I so that's a plus), he lives in the Shire (I haven't had a good history with people from the Shire, i.e. Emma, Chris) and he's a barman (the man works with alcohol so that's gotta be good, right?).

I'm not sure if I'm in a position to see a new person, but I suppose a coffee and a movie can't hurt. Wish me luck, people.
