The dinner was good. Darren met my friends; they liked him, he liked them. I think. Anyway after dinner we scarpered off to The Ranch near Macquarie for drinks. Alcohol kept coming my way and needless to say, I lost control over some or all of my faculties. It probably wasn't the best time to do it, when your boyfriend knows hardly anyone and he's left to protect you from getting one's self killed through drunken stupidity. Maybe a little unfair on him? I don't know, probably.

But he did get to hear a bucket load of embarrasing stories about me, thanks to Lauren and Steph. Thank you girls, you made my day!

Anyway, he wouldn't let me go home alone in the state I was in so he took me back to his place. And you know what? He didn't even take advantage of vulnerable, defenceless, inebriated me. No seriously, he just let me sleep. What a basta-- erm I mean, gentleman.

But nah seriously, it was all good. He was a sweetie as always. He dressed me this morning. Might just hang onto this one.
